Ben's Front Tooth and John Belushi

Ben had a front tooth knocked out at the bar in the Chateau Marmont Hotel (where John Belushi died). It was after a Love Jones concert at the El Rey Theater that was recorded and eventually released as Love Jones Live in Hollywood on Rock the House Records. (The record was vinyl only and sold exclusively by mail order and 800 number.)

He and a couple of friends were getting a little kooky and started jumping on a sofa. Someone apparently jumped over a table and landed on him and...

A couple of shows were canceled immediately afterward, and because of complications, a one-month tour in October 1995 was canceled.

Ben eventually quit the band in early December 1995, but his reasons were completely unrelated to this incident.
